Main Avenue Pedestrian Route |

Survey work
You may have seen our crews near OR 104/Main Avenue while we do survey work for the Main Avenue Pedestrian Route project.
Please use caution when driving through the area.
About the project
We're helping the City of Warrenton provide safe access from Warrenton Grade School to Warrenton High School.
With this project, we're looking to:
- Construct a sidewalk on a single side of Main Avenue/OR 104.
- Complete ADA curb ramp improvements.
- Upgrade signs, striping and lighting.
- Install enhanced pedestrian crosswalks at key locations.
We're looking at what improvements can be made in the project area and what it will cost. We'll have a better idea about the schedule, cost and what we can build as we get further into design.
We're working on the design through 2025 but do not yet have construction scheduled. Stay tuned – we'll send an update when we know more.

See what else is being constructed on the roads around your community by visiting our webpage. You can explore our interactive map to see what we're working on.
Pay attention in work zones, slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work! Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers.
Remember: fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.

Access for pedestrians, including those with disabilities, will be available through or around work zones.
