Road Closure for Emergency Repairs Starts Tomorrow |

Heads up if you're traveling to or from Oceanside, Netarts or Cape Meares – we're making emergency repairs to OR 131 that requires a full road closure.
You can expect
-
A full road closure:
OR 131 to close 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20, 2024.
- If you're traveling to Netarts, use OR 131.
- If you're traveling to Oceanside, please follow the signed detour using Cape Mears Loop Road.
-
A single lane to reopen:
OR 131 to reopen the week of Jan. 6, 2025.
- Portable traffic signals will direct traffic through one open lane in the slide area, which is south of the OR 131 and Capes Drive intersection.
- Plan for delays and give yourself extra time to get to where you need to go.
It could take up to 60 days for us to complete the emergency repairs and fully reopen OR 131.
