Project Update |
|
|
Some of the signs along U.S. 101 and U.S. 101B are worn and outdated.
We're replacing the damaged signs with new ones that meet current standards.
We're planning to start on the Old Youngs Bay Bridge, then move to the Astoria-Megler Bridge followed by the New Youngs Bay Bridge.
|
Expected impacts
We plan to start work early January 2025. When we do, you can expect:
- Crews working during the day and at night.
- Single lane and shoulder closures as needed, Sunday through Friday.
- Flaggers helping direct traffic as needed.
These new signs will help make the area safer, making it easier for drivers to know the speed limit, see upcoming landmarks and destinations.
Don't keep this a secret – help us spread the word!
Please share this email with your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and anyone else you think may need to know about construction in the area and encourage them to sign up to receive project alerts in the Astoria and Warrenton areas.
