OREGON CITY – All lanes of the Arch Bridge on OR 43 will close Thursday night, Dec. 12 for inspection.
The closure will begin at 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12 with all lanes expected to reopen by 5 a.m. Friday, Dec. 13.
Drivers will follow detour signs to Interstate 205 across the Abernethy Bridge during the 8-hour closure. Additional information may be found by checking Tripcheck.com.
Completed in 1922, the Arch Bridge is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and was built and maintained by ODOT as part of OR 43. Also known as the Oregon City Bridge, it is located downstream from the Abernethy Bridge which carries I-205.
