Project Update |
|
|
The Astoria Riverwalk Trail is along the Columbia River on the north side of Astoria and provides scenic views of the waterfront.
This project will extend the lighting to the east from approximately 23rd Street to about 32nd Street.
|
You may have already seen crews out in the area preparing for construction. We plan to start in January 2025.
Once construction starts, you can expect:
- Crews working during the day, Monday through Friday.
- Temporary pedestrian detours as needed.
Most work will happen with minimal to no impacts to drivers and trolley operations.
We won't work during the following events to avoid major tourist days:
- Christmas Trolley, 12/20 - 12/22.
- 5K/10K Run on the River on 5/10/25.
- Regular trolley season (April - October).
|
Don't keep this a secret – help us spread the word!
Please share this email with your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and anyone else you think may need to know about construction in the area and encourage them to sign up to receive project alerts in the Astoria and Warrenton areas.
