To do this work safely, the Commercial Street off-ramp from I-5 Exit 249 is closing for two nights.

You can expect:

• The off-ramp to close nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Loud construction noise and dust.
• Commercial Street SE onto southbound I-5 to remain open.
• A signed detour around the closure.

Detour

To get around the temporary closure, northbound travelers can take I-5 Exit 252 onto Kuebler Boulevard and continue to Commercial Street.

We've shifted both directions of I-5 traffic while we widen southbound to three lanes, build two sound walls, remove and replace two bridges and pave both south and northbound lanes.
