Clow Corner Road Roundabout Construction Update
|
We started making safety improvements on OR 99W between Rickreall and Monmouth in 2023.
We've made good progress – we finished the left turn lane at the Orrs Corner Road intersection and started work on the roundabout at Clow Corner Road.
Good news! The power poles and lines were moved this year. We're now wrapping up construction for the year and plan to return in February 2025.

Next steps
Clow Corner Road to the east of OR 99W
We're planning to close Clow Corner Road to the east of OR 99W between February and June in 2025 while we continue to build the roundabout and connections.
Clow Corner Road to the west of OR 99W
After we've finished the work on the east side, Clow Corner Road to the west of OR 99W will close for up to 90 days. We'll connect the road to the roundabout and remove the old highway.
When this work starts in February 2025, you can expect:
- Detours around the Clow Corner Road closures.
- A reduced speed zone.
- Work happening during the daytime.
- Nighttime lane closures on OR 99W as needed.
- Construction noise and delays.
