Ehlen Road closing for one night at Aurora-Donald Exit 278 this week
|
Tomorrow, November 6, you can expect a nighttime closure of Ehlen Road underneath the I-5 bridge starting at 8 p.m. with the road reopening the following morning by 6 a.m.
The on and off-ramps will remain open with flaggers helping direct traffic as needed. North and southbound traffic can exit but will not be able to turn left and go under the highway.
Cars can detour around the closure by using:
- Southbound off-ramp Exit 278 → Bents Road NE → Arndt Road NE → OR 551.
- Northbound off-ramp Exit 278 → OR 551 → Arndt Road → Bents Road NE.
Semi-trucks can detour around the closure by using:
- Exit 271 in Woodburn or Exit 282 near Wilsonville.
Our schedule may change. Check out TripCheck.com before you go to get real-time traffic impacts, road and ramp closures.
|

Other impacts you can expect:
- Crews working nightly, Sunday through Thursday with occasional weekend work.
- Up to two lanes closed nightly in either direction on I-5 from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.
- Other roads in the project area to have single lane closures as needed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Reduced speed to 55 mph in the work zone.
- Grooves in the pavement in both the travel lanes and along the shoulder – use caution.
- Construction noise and delays.
