A new perspective: birds-eye view of the Aurora-Donald Interchange
Take a visual tour of our work in progress at the Aurora-Donald Exit 278 Interchange on I-5.
The cranes have moved in and we've started building the new I-5 bridge in the center median between the north and southbound lanes.
Speed is reduced in the work zone, so slow down and use caution when driving through the area!

General impacts you can expect:
- Crews working during the day and at night, Sunday through Thursday with occasional weekend work.
- Up to two lanes closed nightly in either direction on I-5 from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.
- Other roads in the project area to have single lane closures as needed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Reduced speed to 55 mph in the work zone.
- Grooves in the pavement in both the travel lanes and along the shoulder – use caution.

Pay attention in work zones, slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work! Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers.
Remember that fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.
