About the project
Our crews have been working to make four bridges along OR 58 earthquake ready:
- Coast Fork Willamette River Bridge at milepost 2.4 (west of Pleasant Hill).
- Willamette River (Barnard) Bridge at milepost 33.2 (west of Oakridge).
- Salmon Creek Bridge at milepost 36 (in Oakridge).
- Lower Salt Creek Bridge at milepost 38.2 (east of Oakridge).
Under the Salmon Creek Bridge, expect the hiking trail from Greenwater Park to be closed. Plan ahead – we've closed five parking spaces during construction.
The Dilley Boat Ramp at Coast Fork Willamette River Bridge is closed.
This work will help make the OR 58 corridor between I-5 and U.S. 97 stronger – a key route between the southern Willamette Valley and Central Oregon.
