Required pre-application for Innovative Mobility Program competitive grant funding due Oct. 25 at 5 p.m.

This is a reminder that the Innovative Mobility Program is accepting pre-applications for Study and Assessment Grants (Non-Infrastructure) and Pilot Grants until 5 p.m. on Oct. 25, 2024. If you are interested in applying for grant funding, you must submit a pre-application. (You can submit more than one, too!).
What grants are available?
The Study and Assessment Grants and Pilot Grants are designed to support shared mobility projects that improve access to public and active transportation for historically underserved groups. What entities are eligible to apply?

Local, regional, Tribal, and state government agencies (excluding the Oregon Department of Transportation).

Public schools, school districts, colleges, and universities.

Transportation providers.

Nonprofits with 501(c) status or organizations with fiscal sponsorship from a nonprofit with 501(c) status.
Ready to submit a pre-application?
Fill out the pre-application by 5 p.m. on Oct. 25, 2024! Program staff will screen each pre-application for eligibility and will follow up with the applicant within 10 business days with information about the applicant’s and the proposed project’s eligibility. Information about how to submit a full proposal will be shared Oct. 28.
About the Innovative Mobility Program
The Innovative Mobility Program is a new initiative designed to increase social equity and mobility while reducing the effects of climate change. The program is funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law passed by Congress in November 2021, as well as State of Oregon dollars. It was created in 2022 at the direction of the Oregon Transportation Commission. The program has a total of $20 million for grants, contracts and administration.
