Region 4 Weekly Construction Update
Here at ODOT, we are committed to providing a safe and efficient transportation system for everyone. We invest in Oregon's future through roadway improvement projects. The following projects are located within Region 4; Central Oregon from The Dalles to Klamath Falls on the east side of the Cascades.
There are two ways to learn about construction taking place for the upcoming week.
1. Visit TripCheck.com. Constantly updated with construction and crash data, TripCheck is the best way to learn about road conditions around the state. Click on a traffic cone symbol on the map to see construction impacts for that area.
2. Scroll down to the counties and highways listed below to see impacts that could affect you. Construction information is shown for one week, giving you the most up-to-date information.
All work is dependent on weather conditions, and schedules are subject to change.
DESCHUTES COUNTY
U.S. 97 and U.S. 20 Bend North Corridor
Travelers will encounter single lane closures on U.S. 97 from Empire to Grandview Sunday night through Friday night for traffic control maintenance and sidewalk demolition and grading.
The ramp from southbound U.S. 97 to southbound U.S. 97B/ Cooley will be closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Friday for paving and guardrail installation. Please use detour in place.
The ramp from U.S. 97B (at Cooley) to northbound U.S. 97 will be closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Friday for paving and guardrail installation. Please use detour in place.
Crews will be performing cleanup work on U.S. 20 from Cooley to Robal as well as performing excavation, grading, drainage, paving, striping, sign installation, and bridge work on U.S. 97 between Grandview and Cooley and Empire. Demolition, grading, and flatwork on the sidewalks of existing U.S. 97 business park will continue and crews will begin paving the existing business parkway.

U.S. 97: Lower Bridge Way - Northwest 10th Street (Terrebonne)
Crews will be performing single lane closures on U.S. 97 from A Street t to Central Street to install new pressure sewer. 11th street will be closed (local access only) from U.S. 97 to F Street. Use posted detours. Travelers should expect moderate delays on the highway.

U.S. 97 Redmond to Bend Phase 2
Crews will be working on Gift Road installing the future J-turn. No delays are expected.

U.S. 20: 3rd Street - 15th Street (Greenwood, Bend) Project
Crews will be performing daytime single lane closures on U.S. 20 (Greenwood) between 6th and 11th street Monday to Friday for sidewalk operations. Minimal delays expected.

U.S. 20 at Locust Street Roundabout
Crews will be installing a concrete sidewalk on Locust and the truck bypass. Locust will close intermittently with detours in place until concrete work is complete. Travelers can expect minimal delays on U.S. 20.

OR 126: Redmond - Powell Butte
Crews will be performing nighttime lane closures Sunday night to Friday morning for curb and sidewalk installation from U.S. 97 to Veterans Way. Moderate delays expected.

CLACKAMAS COUNTY
OR 35: U.S. 26 Overcrossing Bridge (Mt. Hood Highway)
Work continues on-site with crews performing guardrail, bridge rail and concrete work. Single lane closures controlled by portable temporary traffic signals should be anticipated on OR 35.

CROOK COUNTY
U.S. 26 Meadow Lakes Drive – Combs Flat Road (Prineville)
Crews will be performing nighttime lane closures Monday to Friday for sidewalk, signal, and drainage at the Combs flat intersection. Also, the south side of Knowledge will be intermittently closed for construction of ADA ramps. Drivers should expect moderate delays.

GILLIAM COUNTY
OR 206: Rock Creek Bridge Project
Work continues on-site with crews removing the temporary detour that has been in place and performing stream channel earthwork. A 3-week full closure of OR 206 at Rock Creek Bridge (10 miles east of Condon) will begin on October 7. Portable message boards are in place informing motorists for the duration of the closure.

KLAMATH COUNTY
OR 140 at OR 66 Intersection Improvements

U.S. 97: OR 58 - California Border Project (The Dalles - California Highway, MP 252.44 - MP 278.81)
Link River Bridge at MP 275.03: Travel lanes have been shifted on Main Street. Bridge work will be done behind the barrier and no delays are expected. Conger Avenue and George Nurse Way are closed to thru traffic, please follow detours in place.

U.S. 97: SCL Crescent - Willamette Highway 58 Junction Section
Crews will be performing grinding and cleanup work controlled by flaggers and pilot car from 7p.m. to 7a.m. Sunday night through Friday morning. Travelers should expect 20-minute delays.

SHERMAN COUNTY
I-84: US197-The Dalles, Rufus & Arlington Bridges
Crews will be in Rufus performing excavation and embankment work associated with the construction of the Rufus crossover. Motorists should anticipate daytime single-lane closures on I-84 near milepost 109, in both eastbound and westbound directions.

All Roads Transportation Safety (ARTS) Intersection Upgrades Project (U.S. 97 at milepost 120.96 - 121.48
Crews will be performing nighttime lane closures with flaggers to install signal modifications and a flashing beacon sign pole. Minimal delays expected.
