 OR 202 Safety Improvements
Heads up Astoria – we're closing Hanover Street on September 3 for about two weeks. This is part of our work with the city of Astoria to make the area safer for all users whether you drive, ride, walk or roll.
You can expect:
- Hanover Street closed between OR 202 and Alameda Avenue from September 3 to September 17.
- A signed detour to get around the closure.
- Shoulder and lane closures on OR 202.
- Construction noise and delays.
- Crews working during the day and night.

Our schedule may change, please visit TripCheck.com for the most up to date information on road closures and traffic impacts.

Check out what we're building in and around your community!
See what else is being constructed on the roads around your community by visiting our webpage. You can explore our interactive map to see what we're working on.
Pay attention in work zones, slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work! Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers.
Remember that fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.
