Project Alert
OR 47 Messing Creek Culvert Replacement
Join us on August 29 at our community Q&A session
We're working on a project to replace a culvert under OR 47 that was damaged in January 2022 by a storm. A culvert is a pipe or channel that allows water to flow under the road.
We installed a temporary fix, but are returning in 2025 to build a new permanent culvert. This new culvert will help improve fish passage through the area while making it safer for vehicles and pedestrians using the road.
Have questions about what we're doing? Come chat with us.
When: Thursday, August 29, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Where: Mist Grade School Parking Lot.

Pay attention in the work zone, slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work! Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers.
Remember that fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.
Work is weather dependent and our schedule may change. Visit TripCheck.com for the most up to date information on impacts.
