PORTLAND – Effective August 24, this section of I-5 northbound will be closed at night from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. for a single night. The estimated completion date for this work is August 25.

This closures is necessary for sign rebuilding and installations, and drawbridge maintenance to mechanical systems

 

Detour

When this section of I-5 northbound is closed motor carriers can take I-5 northbound or I-5 southbound to I-84 eastbound to I-205 northbound into Washington. For questions or help with determining authorized alternate routes, please contact the Over-Dimension Permit Unit Monday-Friday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. at 503-373-0000.
