Paving on I-84 in La Grande begins Wednesday night

Work begins this week to pave a one-mile section of I-84 in La Grande, from the Oro Dell Interchange, Exit 259, to the Second Street Bridge, milepost 260.4.

Traffic will be reduced to a single lane with 15 feet travel width, and reduced speeds of 55 mph.

Paving schedule

• Westbound: 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21 through 7 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 22.
• Eastbound: 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22 through 7 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23.

Travelers through this area can expect nighttime work Aug. 26 and 27 for striping.
