2024 – 2026 Mid-Cycle Discretionary Grant Awards Announced
To our Public Transportation Partners,
We are pleased to announce the award of more than $18 million through the 2024-2026 Mid-Cycle Discretionary Grant Solicitation. The Mid-Cycle Discretionary Grant Awards will support more than 50 projects and more than 30 agencies from across the State. These funds will replace buses that have reached the end of their useful life, upgrade bus depots to support the deployment of electric buses, and invest in many other valuable efforts, all aimed at ensuring our communities continue to receive public transportation services throughout their region.
Funding for this grant solicitation comes from the Federal Highway Administration’s Surface Transportation Block Grant Program as well as the Federal Transit Administration’s Section 5339 Buses and Bus Facilities Program, Section 5310 Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Program, and Section 5304 Statewide Transportation Planning Program.
Our staff will follow up with awardees the week of August 19 with details about individual grants.
More information about grant awards can be found here.
