We've been working on making the OR 126B and 54th Street intersection safer.

Over the next two weeks we're closing lanes on OR 126B.

• Week of 8/12: westbound single lane closures.
• Week of 8/19: eastbound single lane closures.

You can also expect:

• Construction noise and delays.
• Work happening during the day and at night.
• Other shoulder and lane closures as needed.

If you've driven on OR 126 towards Bend, you've likely seen our crews working to give you a smoother ride. 

To do this we've been resurfacing the OR 126 Blue River and Fish Hole Bridges and paving OR 126 from Linn County Line to Old McKenzie Highway.

As part of the paving project, we're planning a full 48-hour OR 126 road closure starting at 7 a.m. on 8/20 through 7 a.m. on 8/22.

Keep in mind:

• You can detour around the full closure using OR  58 and U.S. 20.
• Vehicles over 35 feet long are not allowed on OR 242.

We're rebuilding Mill Street between A Street and Centennial Boulevard to make the area safer whether you drive, ride, walk or roll.

When work starts, we will:

• Dig out the existing road and replace it. 
• Install ADA curb ramps.
• Build new sidewalks.
• Add bike lanes.
• Upgrade traffic signals.
• Install new street lighting.
• Upgrade the sewer and storm water drainage systems.
