Stayton DMV is closed today through Aug. 9

SUBLIMITY – The Stayton DMV, located at 11656 Sublimity Rd SE, Ste. 400, is closed today due to staffing. Additionally, it will be closed Aug. 5-9 during regularly scheduled business hours for electrical upgrades at the Santiam Center Building. The office will reopen Aug. 13.
During the closure, Stayton and Sublimity residents can visit DMV offices in north or south Salem or access more than 20 services online at DMV2U. When we reopen on Aug. 13, Stayton DMV office hours will remain the same, whether by appointment or walk-in:
- 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.
- 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday.
- Closed from 12:30-2 p.m. on business days.
We recommend customers always check the status of their DMV office before visiting.

REAL ID – Now Boarding, May 7, 2025
Starting May 7, 2025, anyone 18 or older must show federally accepted identification for flights within the U.S. An Oregon-issued driver’s license or identification card with the REAL ID option meets these requirements. A REAL ID is similar to a standard driver’s license or ID but requires you to visit a DMV office with extra documents proving your identity, date of birth, address and U.S. status. If there’s a chance you’ll travel by air in May 2025 and beyond, and you don’t have a passport or other TSA-approved ID, consider adding REAL ID to your license or ID card well in advance of the deadline.
