Full OR 126 road closures near Belknap Springs start tomorrow, August 1

You may have seen our crews while we work on repaving a section of OR 126 that is in poor condition. This work will help preserve the road and give you a smoother ride.

Our next phase of work requires several full road closures – plan ahead and use an alternate route if you're traveling these days in August.

Upcoming full OR 126 road closures:

• 12-hour nighttime closures between August 1 through August 8 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

  • We plan to reopen OR 126 on Friday, August 9 at 7 a.m.

• Full 48-hour road closure planned for August 20 at 7 a.m. through August 22 at 7 a.m.

  • Detour around the full road closure by using OR 58 and U.S. 20.

  • Vehicles over 35 feet long are not allowed on OR 242.

OR 126 Blue River and Fish Hole Bridges construction continues

​​​​​​​We're resurfacing the Fish Hole Bridge and Blue River Bridge to create a smoother surface for drivers and to reduce maintenance costs.​ You can expect: 24/7 single lane closures for the duration of construction. Hard barriers to help define the lane. Two work zones with automated signals directing traffic. Construction noise and delays.
