BEND – Effective August 12, 2024 the US97 southbound off-ramp to Cooley Rd/US97 Pkwy and the US97 northbound on-ramp from Cooley Rd/US97 Pkwy will be closed Sunday through Friday nights from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. The estimated completion date for this work is October 18, 2024. (This is not on the mainline but is the ramp along the new alignment).
Detour
When the the US97 southbound off-ramp to Cooley Rd/US97 Pkwy is closed, traffic will be detoured to Grandview Dr, Clauson Rd, Loco Rd, NE Hunnell Rd, and back to Cooley Rd, this detour may not work for all motor carrier loads, and they will need to avoid traveling through the restricted area or use alternate authorized routes.
When US97 NB on-ramp from Cooley Rd/US97 Pkwy is closed motor carriers heading west, can continue West on Cooley Rd, the take US20 east to Empire Rd, and head north on US97, for loads heading east on Cooley Rd, they can go south on US97, take the ramp to eastbound US20, go east on Empire, then back north on US97.
