Highway construction continues near Jefferson

Construction Alert

We're working on the highways near Jefferson

Northbound I-5 on-ramp at OR 164 / Exit 238 Repairs

We are closing the northbound I-5 on-ramp from OR 164 tonight to grind and repair potholes.

You can expect:

Crews working from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. for one night.
Traffic to detour around the closure by taking OR 164 to get to I-5 at Exit 244.

OR 164: Jefferson (Santiam River) Bridge

We're strengthening and repaving the bridge to improve safety and provide a smoother ride.

You can expect:

Single lane closures Monday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Crews working on repairing the bridge arches over the road.
Construction noise and delays.

Northbound I-5: Santiam Overflow Bridge Repairs

We're making repairs to the northbound lanes of the Santiam overflow bridge before Exit 242.

You can expect:

Crews working nightly, Sunday through Friday.
Single lane closures nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
A reduced speed limit in the work zone to 55 mph.
Construction noise and delays.
