Region 4 Weekly Construction Update
Here at ODOT, we are committed to providing a safe and efficient transportation system for everyone. We invest in Oregon's future through roadway improvement projects. The following projects are located within Region 4; Central Oregon from The Dalles to Klamath Falls on the east side of the Cascades.
There are two ways to learn about construction taking place for the upcoming week.
1. Visit TripCheck.com. Constantly updated with construction and crash data, TripCheck is the best way to learn about road conditions around the state. Click on a traffic cone symbol on the map to see construction impacts for that area.
2. Scroll down to the counties and highways listed below to see impacts that could affect you. Construction information is shown for one week, giving you the most up-to-date information.
All work is dependent on weather conditions, and schedules are subject to change.
DESCHUTES COUNTY
U.S. 97 and U.S. 20 Bend North Corridor
Northbound U.S. 97 traffic has been switched onto the new northbound highway alignment with temporary striping.
Travelers may encounter single lane nighttime closures on U.S. 97 from Empire Avenue to Grandview Drive Monday night to Friday night while crews perform traffic control maintenance, bridge painting and median demolition operations.
Jamison Road will be closed Monday through Friday while crews perform grading operations.
Crews are finishing miscellaneous clean-up work on U.S. 20 from Cooley Road to Robal Lane.
Crews will perform demolition and grading on the southbound shoulder of U.S. 97 from Grandview to Robal Lane, as well as on the median of the existing 97 business parkway.
Crews continue to excavate, grade, and work on the bridge along the northbound U.S. 97 shoulder between Grandview Drive, Cooley Road, and Empire Avenue.

U.S. 20: 3rd Street - 15th Street (Greenwood, Bend) Project
Crews will be performing daytime shoulder closures on U.S. 20 Monday to Friday for sidewalk operations.

U.S. 20 at Locust Street Roundabout
Travelers will encounter daytime shoulder closures Monday to Friday on U.S. 20 as crews perform sidewalk and paving operations.
There are no left turns at Locust Street and Hood Avenue with detours in place as roundabout work continues.

OR 126: Redmond - Powell Butte
Crews will be performing nighttime lane closures from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. on OR 126 Sunday night to Friday morning for line marking operations.

OR 242: McKenzie Pass Pavement Preservation Project
Crews will be performing lane closures on OR 242 Monday to Friday for paving operations. Moderate delays expected.

CLACKAMAS COUNTY
OR 35: U.S. 26 Overcrossing Bridge (Mt. Hood Highway)
Travelers will encounter single lane closures controlled by portable traffic signals on OR 35, and potential shoulder closures on U.S. 26 Monday through Friday.

CROOK COUNTY
U.S. 26 Meadow Lakes Drive – Combs Flat Road (Prineville)
Crews will be performing daytime shoulder closures and lane shifts on U.S. 26 Monday to Friday for excavation, drainage, sidewalk, paving and signal operations. Claypool Street and 4th Street will have lane closures for drainage installation
Access from U.S. 26 (3rd Street) Elm will be closed for intersection works with detours in place.

GILLIAM COUNTY
OR 206: Rock Creek Bridge Project
Crews will be onsite installing temporary water management and conducting fish salvage operations and constructing access for drilling equipment. There are no anticipated impacts to traffic. Motorists should use caution while traveling through the project.
Plan Ahead: A three-week long full closure of OR 206 at Rock Creek Bridge (10.6 miles east of Condon) is expected to begin July 15. Please visit the project website for more the most up to date information.

JEFFERSON COUNTY
U.S. 26: Wapinitia Junction - Warm Springs River Sec.
Drivers should anticipate single lane closures controlled by flaggers on U.S. 26 & OR 216, Sunday night through Friday morning between 7p.m. and 7a.m. while crews are onsite conducting mainline paving operations. Motorists should use caution while traveling through the work zone.

OR 140 at OR 66 Intersection Improvements

U.S. 97: OR 58 - California Border Project (The Dalles - California Highway, MP 252.44 - MP 278.81)
Pelican Bridge at MP 272.99: Beginning Monday, U.S. 97 over Lakeport Boulevard will be fully closed for six weeks while crews replace the bridge. Lakeport Boulevard. will also be closed; travelers should follow signed detours.
Link River Bridge at MP 275.03: Travel lanes have been shifted on Main Street. All bridge work will be done behind the barrier, no delays expected. Conger Avenue and George Nurse Way are closed for thru traffic. Travelers should follow the detour in place.

VARIOUS HIGHWAYS
All Roads Transportation Safety (ARTS) Intersection Upgrades Project (U.S. 97 at milepost 120.96 - 121.48, U.S. 26 at milepost 112.48, U.S.197 at milepost 0.78 - 1.55)
Crews will be performing shoulder and lane closures on U.S. 97, U.S. 26 and U.S. 197 Monday to Friday for signage work. Minimal delays expected.
