Construction Alert
OR 202 Safety Improvements in Astoria
We're working with the city of Astoria to build new sidewalks and bike lanes to provide a safe route for all users to move through this area.
Some of the improvements include repaving a portion of the road and painting new striping. We're also replacing traffic signs and building two retaining walls.
Now that construction has started, you can expect:
Shoulder and lane closures.
Flaggers helping direct traffic as needed.
Construction noise and delays.
We'll work during the day but some nighttime work may be needed.
Our schedule may change, please visit TripCheck.com for the most up to date information on road closures and traffic impacts.

Pay attention in work zones, slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work! Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers.
Remember that fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.
