|
We are installing various traffic management devices to improve safety and traffic control in the event of I-84 closures in the Pendleton area and points east.
The contractor has been working on this project since early April installing electrical conduits, junction boxes and cabinet pads, and installing light poles near Exit 216. Upcoming work includes drilling foundations for sign structures.
Starting the week of May 27, travelers can expect:
- Alternating lane closures on I-84 eastbound between milepost 208, near the Union Pacific Railroad overpass, and milepost 213, at the U.S. 30 overpass. Lane closures are expected to last one week.
- Speed reduced to 55 mph until further notice.
- Crews working Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
On Monday, May 27:
- Crews will not be working and state offices will be closed for the Memorial Day holiday.
