 You may have seen our crews in the area over the past few weeks, construction has started!
You can expect:
- Work happening Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Single lane closures with flaggers helping direct traffic.
- Construction noise and delays.

About the project
On OR 219 in Newberg, between Aldercrest Drive and E Edgewood Drive, we're improving pedestrian safety by building new sidewalks and ADA curb ramps. We're also refreshing the bike lane paint on both sides of the road and improving drainage in the area.
This will make it easier for everyone to get around, whether you ride, walk or roll!
