Oregon 99: Seismic Bridge Retrofit Project

GOLD HILL — Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is continuing work on the bridge retrofit project on Oregon 99 (Rogue River Highway). This project will replace the Millers Gulch, Foots Creek and Birdseye Creek Bridges for earthquake resilience and safety.

Currently the contractor is working at the Millers Gulch bridge with flaggers directing traffic with minor delays. This is anticipated to continue for the next couple of weeks and then the contractor will move over to the Birdseye Creek bridge. Around the middle of May 2024, there will be a FULL CLOSURE at the Birdseye Creek bridge for approximately 3 to 5 days. During the closure, please find an alternate route.
