OR 22 Paving: Big Cliff Dam to the Mongold Day Use Area

The driving surface in this area of OR 22 is breaking and cracking, creating a bumpy and sometimes uncomfortable ride.

Starting this month, we're working on a project to: Repair and repave the driving surface. Add new striping. Install rumble strips. Replace guardrail. Install new rockfall protection fencing. Repair and resurface bridges.

What You Can Expect You'll start to see crews in the work zone in mid-April. Please be patient and use caution. You can expect: Crews working during the day and night. Construction noise and delays. Lane closures with flaggers and a pilot car helping direct traffic as needed.
