SALEM — The Oregon Transportation Commission will hold its regular meeting on Thursday, March 14, at 9 a.m. The meeting will be hybrid, originating in the Prescott Room of the Medford Police Department, 219 S. Ivy Street, Medford.
Items on the agenda include:

2024 Legislative Session Summary and Recap: Receive an update on the 2024 legislative session and ODOT’s planned work for the 2024 interim.

Urban Mobility Office Update: Receive an update on the progress of a core project outlined in the Urban Mobility Strategy, the I-5 Rose Quarter Improvement Project, and approve a resolution for an ODOT and Albina Vision Trust partnership.

Local Project Updates: Receive an update on the I-5 South Medford Interchange Area Management Plan and a presentation on the Rogue Valley Area Commission on Transportation.

Project Delivery Update and Challenges: Receive an update on ODOT’s project delivery, management of cost-related risks, and an update of actions being taken to improve fiscal management of the capital program portfolio.

Informational Updates: Receive informational updates on Connect Oregon, the ADA Program and the Strategic Action Plan.

How to provide public comment
Submit written comment in advance of the meeting and sign up for public comment, either in-person or virtual. Sign up to provide comments by completing the comment form on our website at www.oregon.gov/odot/Get-involved/Pages/OTC_Main.aspx. Please sign up by noon on Tuesday, March 12.
Please note participation will be limited to one representative per organization. Commenters (and organizations) who are providing public comment to the OTC for the first time will be given priority for the limited available testimony spots.
To submit written comments electronically, please use the submission form on the OTC website by noon on Tuesday, March 12, to guarantee inclusion in the meeting packet. Comments not included in the meeting packet will be shared with commissioners after the meeting.

In conjunction with the commission meeting, on Wednesday, March 13, commissioners will join ODOT staff and others in a lunch, tour and site visit to several locations in the area. Lunch will be at noon at the Central Point maintenance yard. Site visits include the OR 140 – Foothill Road roundabout, OR 99 in Phoenix, and Highland Barnett Exit 27.
There will be a no-host dinner Wednesday evening at the Compass Hotel in Medford at 6 p.m. with ODOT leadership and members of the OTC. There is no agenda for the dinner and no formal business will be discussed.
