Ramp Closure – I-5 SB off-ramps to the
Morrison St Bridge (Portland)

December 28, 2023

PORTLAND –  Effective January 26, 2024, the I-5 southbound off-ramp to the Morrison Street bridge, and the I-84 westbound off-ramp to I-5 southbound split, (does not impact the I-84 WB off-ramp to I-5 southbound), will be closed all weekend. Beginning, Friday at 8:00 p.m. until Monday at 5:00 a.m. This closure is necessary for bridge lifts and mechanical rehabilitation work. 

Detour

When the ramps to the Morrison Street bridge are closed motor carriers can continue on I-5 southbound, to I-405 northbound, take Exit 1B to SW 4th Avenue, and then to SW Alder Street, or use authorized alternate routes.
