WEST LINN/OREGON CITY – On Saturday, January 6, 2024, the I-205 northbound section between milepost 8.99 and milepost 9.23, will be restricted to 12 feet 00 inches in width, from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. (noon) the following day.
In addition to the width restriction, the following ramps will be closed at the same time:
- I-205 SB Exit 8 off-ramp to OR43
- I-205 NB Exit 9 off-ramp to OR99E
These restrictions are necessary to facilitate the shaft pour for the Abernathy Bridge project. The estimated completion date for this work is January 7, 2024.
Detour
When the I-205 southbound Exit 8 off-ramp to OR43 is closed, motor carriers can continue on I-205 south, take Exit 6, and go north on I-205, and take Exit 8. When the I-205 northbound Exit 9 off-ramp is closed, motor carriers can continue on I-205 north, take Exit 11 to I-205 south, and take Exit 9 to OR99E. Loads over 12 feet 00 inches in width will need to avoid traveling through the restricted area or use alternate authorized routes.
