WEST LINN/OREGON CITY – Effective December 5, the I-205 southbound Exit 8
off-ramp to OR43 will be closed at night, from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. The estimated completion date for this work is December 8. This ramp closure will take place again on December 20, during the same hours, with the estimated completion date of
December 22.
Effective December 4, the I-205 northbound Exit 9 off-ramp to OR99E will be closed at night from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. The estimated completion date for this work is December 6. This ramp closure will take place again on December 18, during the same hours, with the estimated completion date of December 20.
Effective December 11, the I-205 southbound Exit 9 off-ramp to OR99E will be closed Monday through Thursday nights between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. The estimated completion date for this work is December 15.
These closures are necessary for pipe crossings, barrier and demo operations, and other work associated with the I-205 Improvements/Abernethy bridge project.

Detour
When the I-205 southbound Exit 8 off-ramp to OR43 is closed, motor carriers can continue on I-205 southbound, take Exit 6 to 10th Street, re-enter I-205 northbound and take Exit 8 to OR43. When the I-205 northbound Exit 9 off-ramp to OR99E is closed, motor carriers can continue on I-205 northbound, take Exit 11 to 82nd Street, re-enter I-205 southbound, and take Exit 9 to OR99E. Exit 9 off-ramp to OR99E is closed, motor carriers can continue on I-205 southbound, take Exit 8 onto the round-about, re-enter I-205 northbound and use Exit 9.
