OR 153: Salt Creek Bridge Replacement Project

We've been working for the last couple of years to replace the Salt Creek Bridge in Amity. We're also improving the SW Lancefield Road intersection to make it easier to see traffic on OR 153.

The new bridge is almost done!
We're working on finishing the bridge surface, installing guardrail and paving.
We're on track to be finished with construction by the end of the year.

In the next few weeks, you can expect:

• Crews paving in the project area.
• A detour in place to get around the bridge closure.
• Crews working during the day.
• Construction noise.

Pay attention in the work zone, slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work! Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers.  Remember that fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.
