U.S. 30: Columbia to 8th Street 

Plan ahead – we're striping U.S. 30 in Astoria Our crews are working during the day to apply permanent striping this weekend. Expect lane closures and possibly flaggers helping direct traffic. This work is weather dependent and the paint needs time to dry. Use caution and be sure to stay in your lane and follow the traffic cones – driving over wet paint could be difficult to get off of your vehicle!

Pay attention in the work zone, slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work! Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers.  Remember that fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.

We're making this section of U.S. 30 safer and more accessible by adding a center turn lane, bicycle lanes and upgrading pedestrian crossings.
