Culvert repairs on OR 204

Construction crews install a segment of new culvert on OR 204.

Culvert replacement project continues on OR 204 through Sept. 26

OR 204 is now open to one lane traffic between the Andies Prairie Sno-Park, approximately 26 miles east of Weston, to milepost 30.2, approximately 10 miles west of Elgin. Drivers can expect 24-hour flagging, delays up to 20 minutes and width restrictions of 14 feet. Traffic control is in place while the contractor finishes replacing a culvert at milepost 28.7.

Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes around the work zone via OR 82, I-84 and OR 11 to avoid delays and congestion.

All work is expected to be complete and the highway fully open to traffic by the end of the day Sept. 26.

During the recent closure, the contractor installed a box culvert and began work on the streambed.
