I-5 Albany Ramps 234

Aug. 21, 2023

ALBANY -- Starting at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, the Interstate 5 southbound Exit 234B off-ramp to OR 99E and the I-5 northbound on-ramp from OR 99E, will be intermittently closed Wednesday through Sunday nights from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for paving. We expect the work to be completed by Aug. 28.

During these closures, there will be signed detours ahead of the closed ramps.

Drivers and freight haulers should:

  • Plan ahead. Expect delays and give yourself extra time to make your trip.
  • Know before you go. Visit TripCheck.com for the most up-to-date information on traffic impacts.
  • Pay attention in the work zone. Slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work! Watch for construction signs and workers. Fines double in all Oregon work zones.

Remember, today’s delays lead to a smoother, safer ride tomorrow.
