During these closures, there will be signed detours. ODOT is working with local jurisdictions to minimize local impacts. In order to protect the safety of workers and the nearby residential areas, we ask that drivers slow down and follow the signed detours. People traveling in this area should plan for delays and longer travel times, particularly during morning and evening rush hour.

  • River users will notice several large barges anchored in the river and are required to stay 200 feet away from the barges. River users are urged to use extreme caution. All boaters must travel between the green and red buoys.

Bike and Pedestrian Impacts

  • The pedestrian stairway from Willamette Drive to Territorial Drive in West Linn closed through summer 2023. Use approximately one half-mile signed detour via Mill Street.

Construction has started on the project’s first phase and will last through 2025. You can visit Tripcheck.com for real-time traffic impacts. Stay safe out there. Pay attention to signs and travel safely through the construction zone.
