 August 9, 2023
MEDFORD – An online open house is now available for the public to learn more about a project that will upgrade the area of Medford’s “Big X” – the intersection of Oregon 99, 238 and 62. The project currently is in final design and construction is expected in 2024-2025.
The estimated $14 million project will repave the existing intersection and surrounding streets. They include Court Street and Riverside Avenue between Ohio Street and Table Rock Road and Oregon 238 and 62 from approximately North Ross Lane to Poplar Drive.
The project will also improve curb ramps to meet Americans with Disabilities Act requirements, adjust existing travel lanes to accommodate multiuse paths and reseal existing bridge decks in the project area.
