Historic Columbia River Highway again open after closure while crews fought a brush fire

The road re-opened Tuesday evening after it was closed most of the day east of Multnomah Falls  

The Historic Columbia River Highway re-opened east of Multnomah Falls Tuesday evening after firefighters contained a brush fire that broke out Monday night near milepost 33.

The road had been closed between Oneonta Creek and Multnomah Falls.
