Work starts Aug. 10 to repair damage from spring floods

Starting Thursday, Aug. 10, maintenance crews will begin work to repair flood damage on OR 37.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane from milepost 9, approximately one-half mile northeast of South Cold Springs Road, to milepost 17, three miles northwest of the junction with OR 334. Drivers can expect flaggers, delays up to 20-minutes and rough roads until repairs are made.

A section of OR 37 flooded earlier this year from spring run-off. Crews will remove damaged asphalt, repair the road base and shoulder, then repave.

Repairs are expected to be completed by August 31.
