Repair rescheduled for Tillamook River Bridge on Netarts Highway

Closures will be required when we do the work

July 25, 2023

The morning closures of the Tillamook River Bridge on the Netarts Highway – originally planned for July 31 through Aug. 4 – will be rescheduled. The bridge will remain open 24/7 all next week.

We will announce the new dates once we know the new schedule.

We need to replace one of the piles – the large poles supporting the bridge – that has deteriorated. We estimate the repair will take about five days with closures of the bridge between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. each day of work.

This bridge on OR 131 links Tillamook and U.S. 101 on the east side of the river with Netarts, Oceanside and Cape Meares on the west side.
