Railroad track work will close SW Hall Boulevard on two June weekends in two locations 

During the closures, the Portland & Western Railroad will make upgrades to the tracks in Tigard and again in Beaverton

Upgrades to the Portland & Western Railroad tracks will mean weekend closures this month on Southwest Hall Boulevard in Tigard and again in Beaverton.

Here are the closure details.

Tigard – From 8 a.m. Friday, June 9 until Monday afternoon June 12, Southwest Hall Boulevard will be closed between Commercial and Burnham streets. As a detour, motorists should use OR 99W. Hall Boulevard will re-open once the asphalt used in the rail work has safely dried, expected Monday afternoon.

Beaverton -- From 8 a.m. Friday, June 23 until Monday afternoon June 26, Southwest Hall Boulevard will be closed between Cascade and Nimbus avenues. Hall Boulevard will re-open once the asphalt used in the rail work has safely dried, expected Monday afternoon.

In both locations, the railroad will replace existing ties and rails and will use stabilizing equipment on the tracks. The result will mean a smooth transit for vehicles crossing the tracks.
