I-84 lane closures begin in east Portland this month!
Construction continues between Interstate 205 and Hood River while crews improve Interstate 84 and extend the Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail.
Travelers should expect delays and lane closures this month on I-84 between east Portland and Viento State Park (exit 56). Tips for traveling safely:
- Orange is your cue! Pay attention when you see orange signs, barrels, cones and barricades.
- Use both lanes to merge when lanes are closed.
- Obey all speed signs. Speeds are reduced in work zones for your safety and the safety of others.
