To supporters of the Connect Oregon program,
You’re invited to celebrate!
We’ve reached a new milestone in the Connect Oregon multimodal program: the Mid-Willamette Valley Intermodal Center is ready for business!
Join us for refreshments, meet-n-greet and a ribbon-cutting:
- Thursday, Dec. 15, 10 a.m. - noon
- Mid-Willamette Valley Intermodal Center, 3251 Old Salem Road NE, Millersburg, OR, just north of Albany.
- We’ll have coffee and cookies starting at 10 a.m., with guest speakers kicking off the celebration at 10:30 a.m.
- We’ll be gathering in a tent on-site and while we’ll have heaters going, you’ll want to dress appropriately. Parking is nearby and accessible.
Governor Kate Brown will join local officials and representatives from local businesses, shippers and other key partners in cutting the ribbon on the $35.5 million, 64 acre truck-to-rail facility.
