Funds now available for zero-emission vehicle infrastructure

Nov. 15, 2022

To our Statewide Transportation Improvement Fund Program partners,

We want to make sure you know about a NEW grant program offered through the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality. If you, as a public transportation provider, are planning to add medium and heavy-duty zero-emission vehicles to your fleet, check out DEQ's Oregon Zero-Emission Fueling Infrastructure Grant program. This one-time, $15 million program supports installation of new charging facilities for zero-emission medium- and heavy-duty trucks, buses and equipment, and may include funding for technical assistance needed to complete these installations.

The application period opens today (November 15, 2022) and applications will be considered on a rolling basis until January 15, 2023. Visit DEQ’s webpage for more details on this grant opportunity: https://www.oregon.gov/deq/aq/programs/Pages/OZEF.aspx

Sincerely,
