Construction has started!
We're starting work this week repairing the E Cottage Grove Connector Road Bridge between OR 99 and I-5.
Expect flaggers on N Lane Street and N Douglas Avenue, under the bridge, helping direct traffic.
Plan ahead
Starting Feb. 6, expect a full closure of the E Cottage Grove Connector Road until Feb. 11. There are alternate routes and detours for passenger cars and freight trucks.
Sometime after the full closure we'll close the eastbound lane of the of the E Cottage Grove Connector Road and westbound traffic will have vehicle width restrictions. We estimate the eastbound lane will close for several months. There are alternate routes and detours available for the eastbound traffic.

About the project
We are:
- Repairing the concrete bridge deck and installing a protective overlay to prevent future damage.
- Building ADA compliant access ramps at each corner of the bridge.
- Repairing and strengthening the bridge abutments on both ends, where the road meets the bridge.
- Installing new guardrails to meet current standards.
