I-5 Rose Quarter Improvement Project Design Survey #2

July 11, 2022

For more information, please contact Rose Gerber, 503-779-6927, Rose.Gerber@odot.oregon.gov.

ODOT is committed to being responsive to community input on the I-5 Rose Quarter Improvement Project. We’re asking for community input to help inform the type of designs that could be added to highly visible places in the project area people will see the most (walls and bridges). These urban design elements are intended to honor the historic Albina community and make the project area feel more cohesive and reflective of the neighborhood’s history.

This second design element survey is open to everyone, and we especially want to hear from people with connections to the historic Albina community. It is the second of several short surveys we intend to conduct in the coming months to obtain input on project design details.

The survey is now open and can be accessed through this link or by going to our project website at: https://i5rosequarter.org/. The survey will be available until Wednesday,  August 31. Answering the questions should take only a few minutes of your time. We appreciate your time and consideration to help make this project a community-focused design. Please share this survey with your network of friends, family and co-workers to help ensure everyone’s voice is heard.

If you’d like to see the results of the first survey, which gathered community feedback on crash barriers and column design, see our website here: https://i5rosequarter.org/about/design.aspx.
