Plan ahead – OR 153 closes June 1.
We're starting work next week to replace the Salt Creek Bridge! The closure was pushed back one day, so starting June 1, expect OR 153 to be closed to the north and south of the bridge as our crews work on replacing the 70+ year old bridge.
While OR 153 is closed, you can use OR 99W and OR 18 as a detour. Visit TripCheck.com for the most up to date information on road traffic and impacts.

Detour Route while being replaced.
As part of the project we are:
- Removing and replacing the bridge.
- Repaving the roadway.
- Replacing the guardrail.
- Installing new striping and traffic signs.
- Improving the intersection at SW Lancefield Road making it easier to see on coming traffic.
