2022 – 2024 Discretionary Grant Awards Announced
ODOT Public Transportation Division (PTD) has announced the award of nearly $20 million through the 2022 – 2024 Discretionary Solicitation for Vehicle Replacements, Bus and Bus Facilities, and Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities.
PTD awarded over $10 million to replace 61 public transit vehicles. Of these, 28 new vehicles (46 percent) will operate on electric, hybrid, or renewable fuel technologies. Nearly $8.6 million was awarded for expansion vehicles, transit facilities, mobility equipment, shelters, and signage. PTD also awarded $1.9 million to fund operations, preventive maintenance, mobility management, and purchased services to serve the transit needs of Oregon’s seniors and individuals with disabilities.
PTD is expediting agreements to support local project launches as early as July 1, 2022.
