Oregon Transportation Commission to meet May 12 in Salem

SALEM — The Oregon Transportation Commission will meet in its regular monthly meeting May 12 at 9 a.m. in the Salem Convention Center, 200 Commercial St SE, with a remote option available.
Items on the agenda include:

Interstate Bridge Replacement Project: An update on program activities and the modified Locally Preferred Alternative for the commission’s consideration and input. As the program develops the modified LPA with partner agencies, continued commission feedback and guidance will be sought throughout the process.

Agency Budget and Policy Option Package Update: A request for approval of the Oregon Department of Transportation’s proposed Policy Option Packages to be included in the Agency Request Budget.

Statewide Tolling Policy and Rate Setting Framework: Advise on an approach to develop a tolling policy and congestion pricing framework.

How to provide public comment
Members of the public are asked to submit written comment in advance of the May 12 meeting and sign up for real-time virtual oral public comment. To sign up please follow this link and RSVP by Tuesday, May 10, at 4 p.m. https://www.oregon.gov/odot/Get-involved/Pages/OTC_Main.aspx.
Please note that participation will be limited to one representative per organization. Additionally, commenters and organizations who provide oral testimony to the OTC for the first time will be given priority for the limited available testimony spots.
To submit written public comment, please use the submission form on the OTC website by Tuesday, May 10, at 4 p.m. to guarantee inclusion in the meeting packet. Comments not included in the meeting packet will be shared with Commissioners after the meeting.
